The original entrance gates and central pillar from the old Snow Hill
Station will be used in the station design-and the restored wrought iron
Booking Hall entranceway from Snow Hill will form a focal point for the
station entrance.
The refurbishment will include a wine bar, a coffee
bar, a shop and other kiosks. The wine bar, designed to complement the
existing building, incorporates the listed building frontage from the
former Parcels Office, which was saved for this purpose when the rest of
the building was demolished.
Platform signs and seating will be designed to
replicate the originals, and the concourse will be lit using
reproduction GWR lamps The Re-furbished station will incorporate the
existing Moor Street Station and be operated by Chiltern Railways.
The Station restored and re-opened in
