Gernwings flights are operating up to 26 March
2006. However German low-fare operator Hapag-Lloyd Express
is to open a new route from Cologne/Bonn to Birmingham in
the UK this summer.
Hapag-Lloyd Express, the budget spin-off carrier from tour
operator TUI Group, is to start services to Birmingham on
11 May. It will serve the route five times per week with
Fokker 100 aircraft.
