Birmingham International Airport
Birmingham International Airport (BIA/BHX) is at the centre of the UK's motorway network and only one mile from M42 J6. The Airport has two terminal buildings. Flybe are now the largest operater from Eurohub with KLM, other carriers operate from the main terminal. The two terminals are linked by a new building, the Millennium Link. Over 8 million passengers and over 50 airlines now operate out of BIA to more than 110 destinations via both scheduled and charter services. Skyrail link connects the airport directly to Birmingham International railway station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). BIA is the UK's second largest airport outside London, the third largest for charter traffic, and the UK's fifth largest overall. In 2004, BIA handled 8,870,204 passengers. There is a modern AA 3star Novotel Hotel on site directly opposite the main terminal building.


Terminal 1 (Main)
Main terminal checkinThis is the older of the two terminals; although recently extensive work has been carried out on a new check-in concourse, and on the exterior of the terminal. Main terminal handles all the charter flights and scheduled flights operated by Emirates, Continental and many other airlines. Main Terminal has far more shops than Eurohub including high street names such as WH Smith. Dixons etc.

Air Malta, Air Slovakia, Air India,City Airline, Continental Airlines, CSA Czech Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Emirates, Lufthansa Airlines, MyTravel, PIA, Ryanair, SAS, Swiss International Airlines, Thomson, Turkmenistan Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways. Terminal 2 (Eurohub)
This is the newest terminal at Birmingham, with a new arrivals concourse. It is an extremely pleasant terminal to travel through. The terminal offers all the usual facilities, including shops, car hire desks and refreshment areas.
