| Birmingham International Airport
Birmingham International Airport (BIA/BHX) is at the centre of the
UK's motorway network and only one mile from M42 J6. The Airport has
two terminal buildings. Flybe are now the largest operater from
Eurohub with KLM, other carriers operate from the main terminal. The
two terminals are linked by a new building, the Millennium Link. Over
8 million passengers and over 50 airlines now operate out of BIA to
more than 110 destinations via both scheduled and charter services.
Skyrail link connects the airport directly to Birmingham International
railway station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
BIA is the UK's second largest airport outside London, the third largest for
charter traffic, and the UK's fifth largest overall.
In 2004, BIA handled 8,870,204 passengers.
There is a modern AA 3star Novotel Hotel on
site directly opposite the main terminal building.
